The Firenze Top Handle Backpack is a luxurious Italian leather backpack, handcrafted from full-grain, vegetable-tanned calfskin leather with solid brass zippers and hardware, smooth wax-finished edges, and a durable canvas lining. This leather backpack bag is hand-tanned Etruscan style in Tuscany, using only natural oils and vegetable extracts to create rich, vibrant colors and a silky, semi-gloss finish. Over time, the leather softens and develops a unique, beautiful patina.

The interior is lined with rugged Italian canvas and thoughtfully organized for modern life. It features an 11" x 13" padded laptop pocket, charger and cord compartments, two zip pockets, and dedicated smartphone and pen holders. The front zip pocket includes a turn-lock closure for added security, making this leather satchel as functional as it is elegant.

Leather Characteristics:

The Firenze Top Handle Backpack  is crafted from full-grain Italian calfskin that starts out firm but gradually softens with use, developing a rich patina unique to your journeys. Each hide is hand-tanned using traditional artisanal methods, resulting in natural variations in color and texturemaking every leather backpack one of a kind.

For care, we recommend using our natural beeswax leather cream to soften, polish, and protect the leather as needed. Small scratches can easily be buffed out with conditioner or cream, while over time the leather gains depth and character that only improves with age.
